Flute Choir

This is a fun way for students to:

This group meets once a week for one hour. Everyone must bring a stand, their flute, their music, and a pencil. Performances by this group are given at the end of a semester in a community setting, such as a convalescent home, library, or school. Parts are rotated and each individual part is important, as there is generally one person per part. If you miss a rehearsal it affects the entire ensemble. Everyone is given a responsibility and is of equal importance to the success of the ensemble. More serious groups compete or perform in conventions or other similar venues, in addition to some community performances. These groups consist of serious committed individuals.

Every group most come up with a name for their ensemble. Each member will have some responsibility and will be expected to communicate to the entire ensemble when unable to attend a rehearsal. Therefore each student needs to maintain a valid email address.
