Teaching Philosophy
Music enriches lives, helps students grow in other areas of their lives, and is used as a form of expression. Every country has music, and every person has a good set of ears. Some are not as developed as others, but anyone can make and enjoy music, at any age.
Goals I have for my students:
- To develop this ability in a safe and encouraging environment.
- To help every student find their own musical way, be it teaching privately, ensemble playing, winning competitions, or just playing for themselves, whilst helping them to discover how to create music at a high level.
- To teaching the student to teach themselves.
To put it simply, I guide them to the discoveries that they are capable of great things in music. The rest is up to them.

Sincerely,
Sarah Jane Young
